Validity of the e-vignettes
- Annual vignette:
Valid for 12 months from the selected start date (example: 5 August 2025 to 5 August 2026). An exception applies in the case of a leap year: if the annual vignette is purchased on 29 February of a leap year, its validity ends on 28 February of the following year.
INFO – Extension of the validity of annual vignettes for Slovenia
The validity period of e-vignettes that are still valid on December 1, 2025, will be automatically extended by 4 months, depending on the end of validity. The new end of validity depends on the old end of validity. The new end date will be visible from December 2, 2025.
Example:
An e-vignette that was originally valid for 12 months – until December 15, 2025 – will continue to show December 15, 2025 as the end date until December 1, 2025. From December 2, 2025, the same e-vignette will be displayed as valid until April 15, 2026.
All annual vignettes that expire before December 1, 2025, will retain their standard validity period of 12 months.

This vignette is only available for cars and large vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
- 7-day vignette:
Valid for 7 consecutive days from the start date (example: from 1 July 2025 to 7 July 2025). The first validity day is always included in the calculation.
